It has been 7 months since the last Nintendo Direct. How are you all feeling?

It’s been too long. I’m not sure if it’s just me but it feels like the first party catalog has been lacking for Switch 2. We need that June Direct bad and it better not be another Partner Showcase

I would like to know release dates and if rumors are true but at the same time I have many RPG’s I would like to play (Unicorn Overlord, Hundred Line, Octopath 2 and Pokemon FireRed to name a few) so I don’t mind the slower bits.

I always thought that Direct had some pretty cool announcements. I understand why people say it was bad because of the prices being announced for games and DLC in them, but I thought it was pretty good overall.

Theres some stuff I’m still looking forward to and ive got a shit load in my backlog to catch up on anyway. I’m excited for whenever the next direct is but I’m fine with waiting rn.

    5. I think Nintendo are becoming more comfortable with Nintendo Today filling the gap between major Directs, and I think that’s fine.

    6. We’re kind of in the same spot we were late last year. The last of the switch 2 games developed by Nintendo with release dates were about to come out and all we had were vague dates for future projects until we got a general direct with a few dates on said projects.

Once again, we are nearing the end of the Nintendo developed switch 2 games with release dates. All we know about is Yoshi and Tomodachi which covers major releases for April and May.

I’d honestly hope for a direct in May to cover releases from June through the holiday season but the rumor is that we get the next one in June so who knows if we get a June release for a Nintendo game. Maybe a surprise switch 2 edition?
